CHALLENGE
Norman, Hanson & DeTroy, one of Maine’s most respected law firms, returned to flyte for a website refresh 7 years after we launched their first WordPress site. In that time, their business and brand identity had evolved and the way users browsed the internet had changed. It was time to update their digital look, make the site easier to navigate, and begin publishing content that positioned NHD as a thought leader in legal developments.
It was important to craft a website that showcased NHD’s professionalism and authenticity while keeping information on important legal updates efficient and accessible to users. To stay at the forefront of legal news, attorneys also needed to be able to make updates and posts easily.
SOLUTION
To properly capture the genuine, hard-working Mainers that make up NHD’s team, our Creative Director coordinated professional photography and video work. These assets were crucial not only in designing a site that reflected their brand identity but also in ensuring each attorney felt they had a stake in the company’s image.
Our design highlighted the breadth of NHD’s forty lawyers through attorney spotlights, full bios for each lawyer, a directory with filtering by practice area, and author bios connected to news articles of their successes. All of this was done with usability top of mind, both for the individuals and institutions they served as well as their internal team.
The resulting custom WordPress site offers a clean, modern look true to their reputation for hard-driven, results-oriented, no-nonsense representation.
